The Technology Consultancy Centre for Innovation, Manufacturing and Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (TCC-CIMET) has hosted a delegation from the University of Environment and Sustainable Development (UESD), Somanya, to discuss potential cooperation in research, innovation and student training.
The delegation, led by Dr. Dominic Boyetey, head of UESD’s Department of Built Environment, expressed interest in partnering with TCC-CIMET in areas including practical research, commercialization and skills development. He said such collaboration could create internship opportunities for UESD students, offering hands-on experience and professional growth.
Boyetey was accompanied by departmental registrar Evans Borko. The visitors were received on behalf of TCC-CIMET Director-General Dr. Ing. Alexander Boakye Marful, with Ms. Rhoda Dufie Dwobeng reaffirming the centre’s openness to collaboration.
Following discussions, Kenneth Donkor led the delegation on a tour of TCC-CIMET’s laboratories and workshops, highlighting its engineering, manufacturing and technology transfer capabilities. Officials from both institutions described the visit as a step toward a partnership to promote innovation and capacity building.
